Mountain Lakes Vacation Rental Homes: Unless otherwise specified all have the following features: Lake Front, Private Dock, Washer/Dryer, Central Heat & Air Conditioning, TV, Grill, Microwave, Phone. Smoking is not permitted inside any of the houses and pets are not permitted on the premises unless specifically approved by Mountain Lakes. All our vacation rentals are privately owned, fully furnished and well equipped. Homes are used primarily for summer family vacations but are available at any time of the year. Most are suitable for reunions, weddings, meetings, and small retreats.
LAKE KEOWEE FISHING RESOURCES

Lake Keowee(More) is located primarily in Oconee County in the Northwestern corner of South Carolina frequently referred to as Upstate or Upcountry South Carolina. The nearest towns are: Seneca, Salem, Clemson, Walhalla and Westminster, South Carolina (All less than 10 miles from Keowee Lake). Highlands, Cashiers, Sapphire, and Brevard, North Carolina are all within 30 miles. Toccoa, Georgia is about 27 miles. Keowee Lake features 18,500 acres of "blue" water, 300 miles of shoreline, and great views of the Blue Ridge mountains. Full pool elevation is 800' msl., Maximum depth is 297', and the average depth is 54'. Lake Keowee is 23 miles in length over 3 miles wide at its widest point. Lake Keowee has 9 public access boat ramps and one full service Marina. Most Lake Keowee Vacation Rentals are in mid to up scale lake front developments. Vacation Rentals on the north end may be more isolated mountain homes while the homes on the southern end are "in town" and closer to restaurants and other services.

Lake Chattooga - 60 acre spring fed gated private lake in the mountains of Northwest Oconee County, SC. This lake is centrally located to all the great mountain spots of Northwestern SC, and is convenient to the town of  Walhalla and to the whitewater rafting areas of Long Creek, South Carolina.

Lake Cherokee - Lake Cherokee (also known as Lake Issaquena) is a 320-acre private lake at the edge of the Sumter National Forest near the area known as Tamassee. Lake Cherokee is the largest of several private lakes in the Oconee mountain region and features are great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is also centrally located to all the great mountain spots of Northwestern SC, and is convenient to the town of  Walhalla and to the whitewater rafting areas of Long Creek, South Carolina.
